Just as in my own story and in yours movement is where lasting change begins.
My role is to help you explore possibilities in your body, rather than accept the limitations you may have come to believe about it. Together, we work with your body, listening, guiding, and unlocking what is already within you so you can move from where you are today to where you want to be.

At the heart of this work are five core pillars that guide our time together:
Partnering
We work side by side. You bring your lived experience; I bring a framework for movement that supports lasting, embodied change.
Agreement
We clarify your aspirations and intentions, ensuring your sessions are aligned with what matters most to you.
Anchoring
We build practical tools, movement habits, and body awareness that you can return to beyond our sessions.
Reflection
We create space to notice what is working, what is shifting, and how you are feeling—physically, mentally, and emotionally.
Progression
Step by step, we move forward—always adjusting to what you need, and celebrating the progress you are making.
What underpins my approach is JEMS (the Joanne Elphinston Movement System). JEMS combines anatomy, biomechanics, mindfulness, and whole-person awareness to create movement that is not only strong but also efficient, embodied, and sustainable. It allows me to help you build resilience, confidence, and freedom not just in exercise, but in the choices you make every day, and in the life you want to live without limitation.
